In 1999 Dean Smith began the idea of forming the band Zadok, which simply means, "to do what's right".
In early 2000 Dean and Bill met and after just two music sessions, knew that there was something special
and committed to the cause of putting the "Word of God" to music.
Within 3 months the first CD was recorded, "The Plan" and shortly after "His Kingdom". The band grew in
size and popularity throughout the next few years performing at festivals and churches.
After almost accepting a recording deal in 2003, Zadok decided to remain independent from labels and
keep the music close to home.
At one time there were a total of 6 members in the band. We would like to give special thanks to all who

A hiatus from performing live was necessary more than once due to changes in peoples lives. During those
times Bill Leszewski continued to write and compose music taking the roll of lead singer, lead guitar, and
bass with Dean leading the drums. The CD's created during this time were Rejuvenate, The Rain,
Revolution, and The Watchman.
Zadok is back in 2011 with a whole new line up of songs and enthusiasm to get the truth in Gods Word
out to the people in the form of music.
